The Home Tour has a new winning face. Five pins player Aniello Monteforte from BC Stuttgart (DE) wins his first tournament on the Tour ahead of veteran Ernest Driessen (PL), who defeated his son Ernst-Jan Driessen (NL) in a family-internal duel for second place. The duel for the last available podium place was a close affair between three players who all had the same number of match wins. Due to the best set delta among these three players, Ernst-Jan Driessen was able to secure third place ahead of Antonio Gorgoni (CH) and Jimmy Riml (AT). A total of ten players were at the start, fighting for tournament victory in the round robin tournament mode. The matches were played in a set system with two winning sets (best of 3) and a set distance of 60 points each.
The podium of the Home Tour five pins tournament 2022/23 #3:

- Driessen, Ernest (PL): 7 wins, set delta +7, 14 sets won
- Driessen, Ernst-Jan (NL): 6 wins, set delta +7, 15 sets won
In the three cushion tournament, Andreas Efler (AT) successfully defended his title, and he was able to relegate his MWS trainer colleague Georg Schmied (AT) to second place. For Home Tour record champion Efler it was the 17th title on the Tour - the first pursuer in the all-time ranking is Luca Marzio Garavaglia (IT) with eleven tournament wins. There was also a tussle for third place in the three cushion tournament, again three players had achieved the same number of victories in the course of the tournament. The set delta had to bring the decision again. In this detailed comparison, Tay-Dien Truong (DE) came out on top and took third place just ahead of Zoran Gajs (AT) and Jimmy Riml (AT). Seven players were at the start, the competition was played in round robin mode with a match distance of four winning sets (best of 7) in the 3 points open end format.

The Royal Pro Home Tour is an international carom billiards tournament series that is played online via the MWS system at various MWS locations worldwide. With the start of the current 2022/23 sports season, we switched the Home Tour overall ranking to a new system that is very similar to the ELO ratings in chess. The new ELO rating system is a continuous ranking list with no end of term. The ranking leaders are awarded prize money on certain dates (e.g. end of quarter, end of month ...).
