The Home Tour finals on June 04/05 promise to become a thriller. The first two Home Tour overall winners in history will be crowned. What began on New Year's Day 2021 as an alternative tournament offer (the time of lockdowns...) has now developed into an established, international prize money tournament series that is played throughout the sports season. All Home Tour competitions of a season are added up, according to a certain key, and form the overall ranking, which is divided into two separate rankings for three cushion and five pins. The Home Tour series is played, what else, online over the MWS system at various MWS locations worldwide.
Before the best players of the 2021/22 Home Tour season are crowned, four tournaments per discipline are still to be played, divided into two singles and two doubles each. In the three cushion discipline ranking, Austrian Georg Schmied is currently leading the field in front of Tay-Dien Truong and Andreas Efler. In the five pins table, Dutchman Ernst-Jan Driessen is at the top of the rankings ahead of Ernest Driessen and Marius Kroonen.
Things get down to business right after Easter. The next tournaments in the series will take place on April 23rd and 24th, competitions 13 and 14 of a total of 20 in this sports season. Two doubles tournaments will be played, three cushion on Saturday and five pins on Sunday. Registration closes on the previous Wednesday, April 20th.
