The three cushion tournament on next Saturday is played in round robin mode as a Scotch Double team tournament with second chance. In this mode, both players from both teams play a match together. The matches are played in the 3 Points Open End system on 4 winning sets (best of 7 sets), the players of a team take turns after each shot. Second chance means that the teams repeat their first miss once in each inning - so they get a second chance to continue their runs. The other team player carries out the repetitive shot. The 3 points open end system works as follows: Current runs are never interrupted when the set distance is reached, but always played to the end. As soon as a team has at least 3 points in a set, that set is "sharp". Then the opposing team must at least equalize this score with its next inning in order to stay in the set. The set is played until a team can no longer meet the requirement "equalize or overtake" and thus loses the set.
These are the participating teams in the three cushion tournament:
- Team ATSV Erlangen: Schenkel, Andreas / Truong, Tay-Dien (Erlangen, Germany)

In the five pins tournament, the matches are played in double mode on 2 winning sets (best of 3 sets) of 60 points each. In this mode, both players from both teams play a match together too. The players of a team take turns when the opposing team has scored points or when their own team has committed a foul.
