So far, all tournaments of the Royal Pro Home Tour series, which is played entirely via the MWS system, have been held as competitions for individual players. Last weekend, a team competition was included in the program for the first time, which was baptized by fire on Sunday (May 9th) as a five pins doubles. The team spirit and interaction dynamics of the new format were very well received by both the players and the viewers at home on the screens. The favorite Italian doubles team BC Desio won with Luca Marzio Garavaglia and Andrea Giuseppe Turatti, who clearly prevailed ahead of the Power Turtles and BC Basel.
The podium of the five pins tournament:
- 1st BC Desio: Garavaglia, Luca Marzio / Turatti, Andrea Giuseppe (Desio, IT | € 250 prize money)
- 2nd Power Turtles: Efler, Andreas / Efler, Brigitte (Hinterbrühl, AT | € 150 prize money)
- 3rd BC Basel: Antonazzo, Cosimo / Gorgoni, Antonio (Basel, CH | € 100 prize money)

The day before (Saturday, May 8th) a three cushion singles tournament took place with 6 participants at different MWS locations in 3 countries. A sprint distance on 3 winning sets in the rapid 3 points open end format was played, which guarantees a thrill right through to the end. Accordingly, most of the matches were close, and major upheavals in the rankings were possible up to the last ball played. Nevertheless, in the end it was the favorites who, with their class and routine, were able to set the decisive accents, especially in the big points moments. It won Andreas Efler in front of Tay-Dien Truong and Jimmy Riml.
The podium of the three cushion tournament:
- 1st Efler, Andreas (Hinterbrühl, AT | € 250 prize money)
- 2nd Truong, Tay-Dien (Erlangen, DE | € 150 prize money)
- 3rd Riml, Jimmy (Innsbruck, AT | € 100 prize money)
