Last weekend two individual tournaments of the Royal Pro Home Tour series took place. The three cushion competition was played on Saturday (February 27) and the five pins competition on Sunday (February 28). 10 players at MWS locations in 5 countries joined in, among them the two defending champions Markus Dömer (three cushion) and Luca Marzio Garavaglia (five pins). Dömer chased the hat trick and was aiming for his third success en suite. Garavaglia wanted to repeat his masterpiece of remaining unbeaten in all matches and sets over an entire tournament and to defend his clean slate.
With all tournament bests, Berlin's Lukas Stamm won his second Home Tour three cushion tournament this year. He won all matches and ultimately prevailed clearly ahead of his pursuers. Andreas Efler secured second place ahead of Markus Dömer. With the better set ratio, Efler retained the upper hand over the dethroned defending champion.
The top 3 of the three cushion tournament:
- 1st Stamm, Lukas (Berlin, DE | € 250 prize money)
- 2nd Efler, Andreas (Hinterbrühl, AT | € 150 prize money)
- 3rd Dömer, Markus (Castrop-Rauxel, DE | € 100 prize money)

The five pins competition the next day was the prey of the Italian Luca Marzio Garavaglia, who successfully defended his title. Even more, he remained unbeaten in all matches and sets and has now held 7 Home Tour matches en suite with a 100% success rate that was hardly considered possible. Routinier Ernest Driessen triumphed in an exciting match with 2:1 sets over Andreas Efler and finished the tournament in second place ahead of the Austrian.
The top 3 of the five pins tournament:
- 1st Garavaglia, Luca Marzio (Desio, IT | € 250 prize money)
- 2nd Driessen, Ernest (Turek, PL | € 150 prize money)
- 3rd Efler, Andreas (Hinterbrühl, AT | € 100 prize money)

The concept of our Home Tour series is easy to remember: Every two weeks, two international prize money tournaments take place online over the MWS system at MWS locations worldwide, with one three cushion and one five pins competition. Access to these pro/am tournaments is open to all MWS users and not just for professionals. Every MWS user has the chance to participate and win prize money. All matches are streamed live and freely available on our website. The streams run platform-independent in all common browsers and can be called up on smartphones, tablets, desktop devices and smart TVs.
On 13/14 March the next two Home Tour competitions will take place, all dates and details can be found on our dashboard.
We sincerely would like to thank Pavlos Zachariadis and Royal Pro for sponsoring the Home Tour.
